Snippet of hiding the proceed to checkout button not working

I would like to hide the proceed to checkout button when there is an error. I have tried the snippet here: https://b2bkingplugin.com/docs/how-to-disable-the-proceed-to-checkout-button-if-there-are-errors-in-the-cart/

However the code did not work. I would like to know how to fix it. Thank you.
