we were trying to figure out where and how to translate some of the text in the plugin particularly "add to quote request" and "quote" but we cant seem to find it in the settings.
We are also using loco translate but we dont seem to find the phrase / word.
Kindly advise. thank you.

Hi Marlyn,
I believe the reason those strings are not available in Loco is because probably the translation is not 'synced'.
I suggest you try to click on the 'Sync' button, this one from your screenshots:
