the sub-agent commission is not reflected correctly
ie: agent get 10,00 and sub-agent get 5,00 from the sale of the sub-agent customer sale
your manual is rudimentary at best.... please supply me with in-depth examples of setting up subagent in the commission rules for subagents.. include screen shots and/or videos of real time split commission setup

Regarding your question, the way it works is as follows: The parent agent commission is based on the subagent commission.
So if you have this rule for 50% commission for parent agents:
If the agent has $10 commission for the order, the parent agent should get $5.
