Duplicate agent order bug

Hello,

We tried out a scenario where a customer uses a coupon code provided by an agent on another agent's website.

On the admin backend, it shows that the earning is assigned to the agent whose coupon code was used(as expected)

However, when I login as that particular agent, I can see the commission earning from the order listed but it is not recorded as balance and so the agent cannot request for a payout.

I hope this is clear? Please see attached image.

Questions:
1. Is it possible to split such earnings amongst both agents with the coupon owner earning more?
2. If the above isn't possible, can we make the earnings available to the agent for payout?

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards
Meira

Hi Meira,

Hope you are well, Sorry for the late reply on this, we have a bit of a backlog,

1) Regarding the balance issue:

Is there another payout there? Could it be that the previous balance value was negative and then +20.52 it becomes $10.80?

It's hard to say what happened there, there may have been some error when the balance was assigned.

If you're using an updated version of SalesKing there's a new 'Agent Balance History' feature. In SalesKing -> Payouts -> User Payouts there's this button:

It should download a history log of how the agent's balance changed so hopefully that can shed some light on it.

I can check all of it directly if you can share a backend login to the site or staging clone site,

2) Is it possible to split such earnings amongst both agents with the coupon owner earning more?

Earnings can only be split if one of the agents is a SUBAGENT of the other one.

Kind regards,

Stefan
