Hi Robert,

The best way to protect against this would be to add a captcha to your registration. Most WooCommerce registration captcha plugins are compatible and will work for this.

Last we tested, this free plugin worked well for this purpose: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-recaptcha-integration/ , but other plugins should work as well.
