Hi,

For one particular B2B Group the price of a product needs to be 0.00, but it keeps being overwritten by the regular price because it doesn' recognise 0 as a price.

Please help

The reason it has to be R0.00 is because that particular group is a B2B Group Assigned to Sales Agents. So if a user is not logged in the regular price must show, while if the user is shopping as a customer (AKA a B2B client), the price needs to be 0.00 so that they can fill in their own price using Product Add Ons Customer Defined Price.

Hope that makes sense

Hello Christo,

I believe one solution could be to use B2BKing's Dynamic Rules instead of group pricing. You can create a "Fixed price" rule set to 0, which should work.

Regarding the bulk price updates - are you using B2BKing's importer or have you tried the WooCommerce native importer? The WooCommerce importer might be easier to work with in this case, and it's fully compatible with B2BKing. You can simply export your Excel file as CSV and use it with either importer.

You can find detailed instructions for both methods here: https://b2bkingplugin.com/docs/how-to-bulk-import-export-product-prices/

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know which importer you're trying to use and what specific error you're seeing?

Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

I've tried it. But the product Add Ons plugin allows for a custom price to be set by the sales rep by method of adding the input price to the regular price. With the dynamic rules option it stays 0.00 even if the sales rep uses the price add on. So the price remains 0.00 regardless of the input price by the sales rep.

Hi Stefan,

Please see attachment. The price is Zero. But the price input below needs to be able to update the price. I'm using Product Add-Ons for Woocommerce. https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/. So Dynamic Rules won't work as the price needs to be able to change even if 0. I also can't make it 0.01 as when more than a thousand tons is ordered it starts to make a difference. Please advise.

Hi Christo,

"I also can't make it 0.01 as when more than a thousand tons is ordered it starts to make a difference."

If you set the group price (directly on the product page) to 0.01, does that resolve everything and work as expected and the only issue is this small price difference?

Please check if that solves it everywhere correctly, including on the cart page, in checkout, etc.

If that solves it, I think I may be able to write a custom code snippet so that it interprets 0.01 as 0 internally.

Please let me know.
