Hello,

WooCommerce has Brands - not the Brand attribute.
We would rather not add so many individual attributes to products with variants (We have 1 brand to choose from, 1 color on the product card) because it looks weird and is impractical, and we need to be able to filter products.
Is it possible to filter by brand without the brand attribute?
There are categories in the filters, can't there be brands there?

Best regards,
Barbara Muszko

Hi Barbara,

Thanks for reaching out about this.

On the product page, B2BKing doesn't have built-in filtering features - this is controlled entirely by WooCommerce itself.

Since WooCommerce Brands is a taxonomy (similar to categories), you'd need a custom filters plugin to achieve what you're looking for. I'd suggest looking for something like a "Variations Filter by Brand" plugin or a "Variations Filter by Taxonomy" plugin that can add brand filtering without requiring you to create individual brand attributes for each product.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Also, following up on our email conversation, there we shared the snippet:

add_filter('b2bking_bulkorder_instock_filter','__return_true');

and you mentioned wanting to also have a backorders option as part of this filter. At the moment, the filter conflates the two.

To find a solution, can you please clarify, what are your settings under B2BKing -> Settings -> Other -> Stock? https://prnt.sc/R-GRjJxX-thc
