Hi,

Is it possible through some snippet to get the VAT validation to work in the registration form (not the checkout form)? In practice this would mean that the VAT would have to be validated before registration can take place.

Yes, this is possible and built-in with the plugin

If you go to B2BKing -> Registration Fields -> VAT, there is a "VIES" checkbox you can enable. Please take a look at this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/b8NSiSf94hOs

This is actually our recommended approach rather than checking it at checkout as it will be the most reliable way to handle it.

To clarify how it works: the validation is applied automatically when the registration form is submitted. If validation fails, the user will see an error and won't be able to complete the registration.
