I am new to B2B King and trying to understand why emails associated to the plugin are not coming through. When a business registers there is no confirmation on the page and no emails arrive to show its been successfully sent. Business owner of website is also not getting emails to show someone registered to get access to wholesale pricing.

Only email that comes is about resetting password.

Also if a business owner is approved they don't get an email.

If that business owner buys something on website through Woocommerce they ARE getting that email.

But no emails from B2B seems to be coming through and efforts to troubleshoot haven't worked.

Hi Megan,

Thank you for purchasing our plugin and welcome to B2BKing!

Regarding the registration confirmation on the page, I registered a test account on your site at https://phoenixbeautysupply.com/my-account/ to see how it behaves.

It looks like you are using Divi, and the page template likely does not have a WooCommerce notice element. To fix this, please try editing the page and adding a Woo Notice module. This is the element responsible for displaying confirmation messages: https://www.elegantthemes.com/modules/woocommerce-notice/

For the emails not coming through, first please double-check that they are enabled by going to B2BKing -> Settings -> Emails. If they are already enabled, it is quite possible the emails are technically being sent by WordPress but are getting stopped by spam or email filters before reaching their destination. This is a common problem in WordPress, and it is usually solved by installing and configuring an SMTP plugin to ensure reliable email delivery.

If you'd like, we are also happy to troubleshoot and look into both issues directly on the site. For that, we would need a backend login to the site or a staging clone site.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi Megan,

Thanks for setting up the access, I've had a look at both issues,

Registration Notice:

This was likely a conflict in the notice flow. I've added a code snippet to your site that should fix it - you can find it here: https://phoenixbeautysupply.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcode-snippet-manager&snippet_id=389467

(Code for future reference: https://pastecode.io/s/rg3472g6)

I also included some CSS in that snippet so that the Register page fields match the design of the email and password fields.

You should now see the following after a successful registration: https://prnt.sc/G_ZLhB4LAsu5

Emails:

I installed a mail log plugin on your site which you can check here: https://phoenixbeautysupply.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpml_plugin_log

All emails show up correctly in the log, which means they are being sent from the site. The problem is on the delivery side. Looking at your SMTP settings here: https://phoenixbeautysupply.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-mail-smtp&tab=settings, I can see it's configured to use the website's own email infrastructure. Email providers likely aren't viewing that as a trusted source, so the emails end up filtered or rejected.

I'd recommend switching to Brevo: https://prnt.sc/shFkUuNeOTTs - their free plan includes up to 300 emails per day which should be enough for most sites. Once you set up Brevo, make sure to authenticate your domain with their DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). That should resolve the deliverability issue.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan, Thank you for your help, I was able to get it to work with the brevo option. I had to make some more fixes on the woocommerce-Email page all the way at the bottom I had to change the email account for the From.  Not sure if that was the part that fixed it or not. But I am just glad its working now. Thanks again for your help.

Hi Megan,

Thanks for the update, glad to hear you got it working :)

The From address could definitely be part of it. A common problem is: if the "From" address uses a different domain (e.g. [email protected] instead of [email protected]), it will typically get rejected by email providers. Using an address on the same domain is what you want to do.

I still recommend keeping Brevo active, as it is usually much more reliable long-term than anything else.

Let us know if we can help with anything else!

By the way, if you have a moment, we'd really appreciate it if you considered leaving a quick rating for the plugin - it's a big help.

Kind regards,
Stefan
